Update Highlights include:

• Express Services Prepaid Code - A prepaid Authorization Code can now be entered for
  W-2C forms in addition to W-2 and 1099 Series forms.
• W-2C - When creating a W-2C from an existing W-2, the Previously Reported column of the second line 19, Local Income Tax, will now correctly fill from the existing W-2 form's Locality Two Tax Withheld. Previously it was filling from Locality One Tax Withheld.
• W-2C – Line 12 Amount fields were changed to accept a larger amount to match the W-2.
• W-3C – In rare cases some values were not appearing on the W-3C prep screen after the W-2C returns were summed when printing or previewing Copy A. That has been fixed.
• 1098-T - In some cases the 1098-T displayed an "object reference" error when some fields did not exist after importing. That has been fixed.
• Magnetic Media - When creating magnetic media for 1099 forms, if a Payee for the selected Payer does not have any 1099 returns to process, that Payee was causing an 'Object Reference Error.' This update allows the process to bypass (ignore) those Payees with no 1099 returns.
• Enhancement - On the W-3, this update correctly checks the appropriate checkbox in Box B based on the Employment type selected. Box b also has the 'Third Party Sick Pay' checkbox checked when any of the W-2 Copy A's that were printed/previewed have the 3rd Party Sick Pay checkbox checked (in Box 13).

Program Highlights include:

• Updates to State Magnetic Media – Review state changes and requirements on the Release Notes for specific updates.
• Philadelphia Annual Reconciliation Form – This new form is on the Select Payer screen. After creating your magnetic media file, this form must be prepared and printed to accompany your electronic media submission.
• New State W2 Magnetic Media (AR, OH, MT, NE, PA, WV)
• New Locality W-2 Magnetic Media (St. Louis, MO and Erie, Lancaster, Philadelphia & Pittsburg, PA)

Download/Install Instructions:

• From the File Download screen that displays, select Save to disk.
  (Remember where you save the file.)
• Click Close on the Download Complete screen.
• Click Start | Run and then browse to find the update file.
• Click Open or double click the update file.
• Click OK to begin the update.
• Follow the on-screen instructions.

For Network Users: The update has to be installed on both the server and the workstation. Always install the update on the server first, then the workstations.
